THE BUSINESS OF HEMP

10:00am – 12:00pm

10 am to 10:45 am:  How to Thrive in a Post-COVID 19 business environment

Presented by Green Farms CEO Jonathan Page

Synopsis:  As Good-to-Great and Great-by-Choice author Jim Collins discovered after studying more than 6,000 years of corporate history, business success is not primarily a matter of circumstance; it’s primarily a matter of approaching each day with a relentless mindset.  As Collins wrote: “10Xers reject the idea that forces outside their control or chance events will determine their results; they accept full responsibility for their own fate.”  COVID-19 has created a lot of uncertainty.  The regulatory and legal environment surrounding hemp and cannabis is uncertain.  And mindset, more than ever, is the key to not merely surviving, but thriving, in these extreme economic circumstances.  “How to Thrive in a Post-COVID 19 business environment” will provide attendees with actionable strategies for leveraging a relentless mindset and improving business results.

Here are five actionable take-aways from the presentation:

  1. Your mindset (and not your external circumstances) is key to achieving business success;
  2. Everything exists in the Universe today for you to achieve your goals (don’t let doubt and fear sabotage the results you desire to achieve);
  3. Money is the necessary fuel for you to achieve success; but, money alone cannot be the goal; you must pursue a cause greater than money (and this is why so many in hemp and cannabis fail, because they lack any real passion for the industry);
  4. Be intentional and clear each day with what you desire to achieve for that day (you can only achieve future goals in the now, not the future); and
  5. Be relentless by eliminating doubt, fear and victim mentality in your life.
